Patrick Kelly of Wilson Elser Moskowitz & Edelman — President of the State Bar of California — Asked to Comment on Reasons Behind Clear Lack of Racial Diversity

Consistent with The Leslie Brodie Report’s commitment to integrity and adherence to the highest level of ethical journalism, and in order to report on both sides of a controversy while affording those involved the opportunity to comment,  Patrick M. Kelly — managing partner of Wilson Elser’s Western region — is hereby asked to disclose reason/s behind clear lack of racial diversity at his firm.

Mr. Kelly has been elected president of the State Bar of California for 2012-2013.  According to Wilson Elser Pat Kelly “has been with Wilson Elser for 32 years and serves on the firm’s national Pro Bono Committee, also will seek to expand the bar’s pro bono and diversity initiatives. Diversity in the legal profession is an issue that has been important to him throughout his own legal career. “
